Turkish-Indian relations: from the Pakistan factor to the G20

Turkey and India are two emerging economies in the 2000s and members of the G20. Despite having historical relations, Ankara and New Delhi have some difficulties to improve their cooperation.

The Pakistan factor has always been dominant in Turkish-Indian relations. 

This essay analyses Turkish-Indian relations from the beginning to the present time with assessment and shortcomings. It also elaborates on how current developments like the pandemic and the Russia-Ukraine war have affected Turkish-Indian relations.
