News: a majority of Serbs are against joining the EU

According to the latest Ipsos report published in March 2022 and reported by Euronews, in case of a Serbian referendum about the accession to the European Union, only 35% of citizens would be in favor, against 44% who say they would not be. This is the first time that the majority of Serbian citizens would refuse the idea, and this trend in public opinion could stem from the tensions between Brussels and Belgrade over the Russian issue.
