Stabilisation and association agreement between the western Balkan countries and the European union

The collective article from Nezirović et al. aims to analyze the progress of the Western Balkan countries towards the EU membership, their current state, and the problems they face on that path, and to explain the Stabilization and Association Process (SAP) for South East Europe and the pre-accession strategy (Stabilisation and Association Agreement - SAA). The authors consider that becoming an EU member state requires extensive work to do for the Western Balkan countries, notwithstanding that even the EU itself has not been clear about its goals yet.
