News: Albania: Confidence in European institutions declines, according to polls

According to the Trust in Governance survey poll, published by the Institute of Democracy and Mediation (IDM), Albanian citizens' confidence in European institutions fell by 4 points in 2021 compared to the previous year - from 75% to 71%.

However, despite a general decline compared to previous years, the European Union (71.3%) is, together with NATO (73.2%) and the United Nations (71.4%), the most reliable international institution in public opinion; It is even more trusted than the national institutions (45%).
