News: President von der Leyen on a trip to the Western Balkans

The President of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, will travel to the capitals of the 6 countries of the Western Balkans from 26 to 29 October, to reaffirm the Union’s commitment to the accession negotiations within a highly complex framework resulting from the succession of international crises: from the fight against the pandemic, to the Russian-Ukrainian conflict and the energy crisis.

The President of the European Commission will be on Wednesday 26 in Skopje (North Macedonia), Thursday 27 in Pristina (Kosovo) and Tirana (Albania), Friday 28 in Sarajevo (Bosnia and Herzegovina) and Belgrade (Serbia) and Saturday 29 in Podgorica (Montenegro).
