Western Balkans Research and Innovation Infrastructures Roadmap

The Regional Cooperation Council (RCC), in line with the Common Regional Market (CRM) Action Plan 2021-2024 and the Western Balkans Agenda on Innovation, Research, Education, Culture, Youth & Sport (WB Innovation Agenda), aims to assist Research and Innovation infrastructures through the creation of a Roadmap for the Western Balkans.

The "WB Roadmap" is a strategic document that outlines a global vision for research and innovation infrastructure in the Western Balkans and the main steps needed to achieve it. It also identifies the R&I capabilities of the territory and the opportunities to increase interconnectivity, promoting the Western Balkans as reliable partners.

The WB Roadmap highlights existing R&I resources and infrastructure that can support the launch of joint initiatives by Western Balkan economies in a joint effort.
