News: U.S. sanctioned top Serbian security official for actions that support Russia’s ‘malign activities’

The US Treasury Department took action against Serbian security official, Aleksander Vulin, for using his public position to support Russia’s activities which threatened Western Balkans’ security and stability. US sanctions on the top Serbian security official for his “corrupt and destabilizing acts” demonstrated the Treasury’s willingness to target actors that abuse their power to undermine democratic governance in the Western Balkans.
