News: Montenegro: EU approves financial package for reconstruction of Bar-Podgorica-Vrbnica railway

The EU has approved a financial package of € 75.5 million (of which € 40 million in the form of a loan from the European Investment Bank (EIB) Global) for the reconstruction of the railway connecting Bar-Podgorica-Vrbnica. The package will cover 95% of the total cost of the project and will also provide technical support for the preparation and implementation of the project.

The project aims to promote a more sustainable transport system for Montenegro.
