The European Political Community needs a strong democratic component

The first summit of the new European Political Community conceived by Emmanuel Macron will be held on 7 October in Prague, but it is very unlikely that the project will come to life at the Summit. Pier Virgilio Dastoli explains why the new EPC must become a permanent laboratory of dialogue between citizens, both EU and non-EU, and the European institutions, capable of functioning outside the occasional summits.
