News: Albania to receive €600 million from EU pre-accession assistance

The Albanian parliament has ratified an agreement with the European Union that will allow the country to receive EUR 600 million in funding for the next 7 years. The draft Financial Framework Partnership Agreement with the European Union provides for the disbursement of funds from the Instrument for Pre-Accession Assistance (IPA III). The Assistance Facility provides support to candidate countries for the implementation of the political, social and economic reforms necessary for alignment with European values and standards.
