News: EU Support for the Armed Forces in Montenegro

The Council has adopted a 6milions euros assistance measure under the European Peace Facility, in support of the armed forces of Montenegro.
The goal is to strengthen the capacity of the armed forces in order to enhance national stability, security, and resilience in the defence sector. The measure will also support the country’s participation in EU missions, highlighting Montenegro’s alignment with the EU's Common Foreign and Security Policy.
