News: EuroPride: green light from the government, but Human Right Whatch puts an alert on Serbia

Although the Serbian Government has decided to lift the ban on Europride, which took place regularly in the capital on 17 September, the country has been added to the list of countries to be monitored by CIVICUS - civil society organization part of Human Rights Watch. The alert is due to the government’s reluctance to allow the demonstration to take place and the violence perpetrated by the police following the subsequent protests that shook the city.
