News: Kosovo: Visa liberalisation from 2024

At a meeting of visa advisors in Brussels on 22 November, representatives of the European Union Member States agreed on a proposal to liberalise visas for Kosovar citizens from 1 January 2024. The proposal will make it possible to digitally verify the identity documents of Kosovar citizens who apply to enter the Schengen area and, consequently, to issue electronic visas.
