News: NATO Deputy Secretary General visits Pristina

NATO Deputy Secretary General, Mircea Geoană, visited Kosovo with the Atlantic delegation. Geoană stated that NATO, committed for decades to the peace and stability of the Western Balkans through the KFOR mission, broadly supports the process of normalization of relations between Serbia and Kosovo. The Deputy Secretary General also met with Vjosa Osmani, the President of Kosovo and Goran Rakić, the leader of Srpska Lista, the party of the Serbian community in Kosovo. During the meeting Osmani reiterated the country’s willingness to join NATO and the European Union, to address the Russian threat in the region.
