News: von der Leyen meets WB6 leaders to discuss the Growth Plan

The President of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, met the WB6 leaders in Brussels to assess progress made in the framework of the Growth Plan for the Western Balkans. The EUR 6 billion plan is aimed at upporting the countries' economic growth and the integration of the region’s markets into the European market.

During the meeting, von der Leyen reiterated the EU’s commitment to the economic and political integration of the region, stating that "the six countries belong to Europe".
