The paper explores the influence of AI and digital technologies on the development cooperation efforts of Italian Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) through a SWOT analysis.

It assesses the impact of these technologies on human rights within the context of sustainable development. The study includes an overview of Italian development cooperation, aligning it with OECD and EU recommendations.

The methodology includes desk research and interviews, presenting findings through a theoretical debate on the use of technology among CSOs. Preliminary results show varied technological applications in sectors such as health, education, and agriculture.

The paper concludes with a SWOT analysis, highlighting strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats. This provides strategic insights for enhancing the role of technology in sustainable development and identifies challenges for optimization.
