Unless the UAE and Turkey create a mechanism to contain possible political disputes in the future, the relationship will remain highly susceptible to regional and international factors. The emerging relationship between Abu Dhabi and Ankara will be tested soon against these factors in 2023; Turkey’s general elections and 2024, the US Presidential elections.
