The domino effect: What is Turkey’s stake in the Black Sea crisis?

As international concern grows over Russia’s war on Ukraine, Turkey is trying to position itself as a key mediator between the warring countries to facilitate dialogue and bring about a ceasefire.  However, despite the situation getting more complicated and negotiations becoming harder, Turkey as a potential guarantor has not yet submitted details of its proposal.
